1What you make is yours
A video, a sound or a picture you export from DriftEdit is yours to use as you like: post it, share it, sell it, use it in client work or advertising. Drift Technologies claims no right in it.
What is in it is another matter. The footage, photos and songs you brought in are covered by their own licences, and you are responsible for having the right to use each of them, as the terms, section 8, set out with the one practical warning about music on video platforms.
2The free mark
On the free plan every exported video carries the DriftEdit mark, at 25% opacity and 10% of the frame's shorter side, inside the area TikTok, Reels and Shorts leave clear of their buttons. It is part of what the free plan is: removing, covering or cropping it out of a free export is not permitted. Pro exports carry no mark (Coming).
3The Library
The 49 sounds, the 8 beats, the overlays, backgrounds and stickers are made by DriftEdit's own code. You may use them in anything you make with DriftEdit, commercial work included, without credit. You may not redistribute them on their own: as a sound pack, a sticker set, or a library for another tool.
4Effects, transitions and text styles
How your video looks through them is part of your video. The presets themselves, the effect and transition kernels, the text styles and their animations belong to Drift Technologies and are for use inside DriftEdit (the terms, section 10).
5Typefaces
Every typeface in the editor is under the SIL Open Font License or a licence as open, listed with its copyright on the about page. Text set in them can go into any video, commercial work included; the font files themselves stay under their own licences.
