Everything after the auto edit, or without it: a full timeline editor that runs in your browser.

## Every part of an edit

### The timeline

- Tracks for pictures, sound, text and adjustment layers
- Move, trim, split, ripple delete, slip, slide and roll, every step undoable, with the history as a list
- Snapping to kicks, bars, clip edges, markers and the playhead; in and out points and loop playback

### Keyframes, speed and time

- Scale, position, rotation, anchor and opacity keyed, with the easing of each key
- Speed ramps from six presets or a curve of your own, reverse, rewind, boomerang and freeze
- Automation lanes for volume, pan, filters, opacity, zoom and position

### Effects and transitions

160 effects and 81 transitions, drawn on the graphics card and previewed on the selected clip before you apply them. Transitions sit on the cut and resize from their edges.

[Every one of them](https://driftedit.app/effects/)

### Text and captions

- 106 text styles in 26 typefaces, 40 animations by letter, word or line
- 53 caption styles, most marking the spoken word
- SRT and WebVTT in and out; captions burned in or kept separate

### Sound

- Each track's volume, pan and filters; each clip's volume, pan and fades; mute and solo
- A video's sound moves with its picture, and unlinks when you want it apart
- A Library of 49 sound effects and 8 beat loops, made in code

### Projects and export

- Saved as you work; a reload resumes where you were
- Project files, with or without the media, to move an edit between devices
- MP4 from 720p to 4K at the offered frame rates and a bitrate of your own; the sound alone as a WAV; a frame as a PNG

## The same editor on a phone

The viewer on top, the timeline under it, the inspector and the catalogue as sheets, and a long press for every menu.

## Coming

Captions from speech and stems from any song run on your device with models that are still being measured on phones. They are free when they ship.
